악기의 음색 연구를 목적으로 관악기, 현악기, 타악기 등 악기별 성능 구조 음색을 검토하여 각종악기의 특수성, 표현의 가능성을 연구하며 각조 악기의 조성 및 이조문제를 다루고 악기편성법,편곡법의 실제적인 훈련을 쌓는다.

The course focuses on 3 things; the first is to study the distinctiveness and expressional possibility of each instruments with examination of function, structure, and timbre; the second to deal with transposition issue; the third to practice the instrumental setting and arrangement.
