19세기 후반부터 현재까지 이르는 음악적 양식들의 변화와 움직임들을 살펴본다. 시대적 상황과 함께 예술적 정신들의 변화에도 초점을 맞추어 그들이 음악계에 끼친 영향들도 알아본다. 실습적인 접근보다는 이론적인 면에서 접근하여 작곡기법 보다는 작곡가들의 생각과 철학을 이해하는데 주된 목표를 둔다.

The course is to study the stylistic changes of music since late 19th century. The aim is to understand the philosophy of composers and to nurture creative spirit with the examination on the matter of changes of generation and artistic spirit.
